about skære
HOW COME? BECAUSE…
I picked up a racket on a regular basis when I turned 42, I stopped throwing it (for the most part) by age 46. By 48 I grew tired of wearing other people’s designs that for me just missed the mark. In a nutshell, the idea was this; I wanted skaere to introduce refined simplicity to on-court fashion. I wanted to reimagine how we look in high performance clothing and how we play while wearing it. It needed to be modern, it needed to function and it needed to subtly stand out. Now, for those rare times that I “accidentally" let the racket fly at least I’m stylin’ in appearance if not composure.
Being a bit of a type A, perfectionist I love attention to detail. It’s the little touches that make things special, couple that with the pristine, graphic quality of the court & the style that can be brought to it is ultimately what drives these designs. I hope you have a similar reaction to our line, if that’s too deep, just wear it cuz it’s drippy!
